Our annual general meeting (AGM) for this year is scheduled for Saturday 21^st and Sunday 22^nd November 2026 in Erfurt. This is our annual opportunity for all PhD students in Germany to discuss current topics, meet other doctoral researchers from different cities and members of the federal association, influence the future direction of the association, share ideas, strengthen our network and enjoy spending time together in the evening. If you want to partake ask your PhD council to sign you up via the invite we send around in July.

This year we would like to invite anyone who is interested or who has questions concerning us or the AGM to one of two pre-AGM meetings. Those two short online meetings are planned to briefly introduce who we are and what the Bundesverband Promovierende e.V. does, walk through the agenda of our AGM, and leave time for open questions. This is also a great opportunity for anyone considering running for our executive council to introduce themselves in advance and discuss the possibilities.
