If you are in the middle of your doctorate or have already successfully completed it, then you know that a doctorate is much more than just research. It is an intensive journey full of highs and lows, surprising twists and turns and aha moments, both big and small. It is precisely these experiences that we want to make visible. Because they don’t just affect you, but also all those who are currently doing a doctorate or are thinking about starting one.
We want to openly address challenges, share personal insights and develop concrete impulses for researchers. The aim is to create a space for exchange, support and inspiration – based on the diversity of your individual doctoral paths. Whether practical tips, helpful tools, strategic approaches or critical reflection – anything that has helped you in your day-to-day doctoral work is welcome.
Your contribution can be:
- a short experience report from your doctorate
- Tips on tools or methods that have helped you
- Helpful websites where you can find information
- an open look at what motivated you or how you dealt with problems
Selected contributions are regularly presented in our newsletter. This will gradually create a collection of your experiences that can provide other doctoral candidates with help, guidance and inspiration. Send us your contribution – whether you just want to share a few lines or a longer story. Every perspective counts!
